Comes configured with 1536 DMX channels (3 universes) in live mode out of the box. Expandable to 2048 channels (4 universes) via upgrade.
Stand-alone mode support: default 1 universe, expandable to 4 universes.
Metal housing (robust build) for durability in pro-environments.
Connects via USB-B and Ethernet (RJ45) for live control and network integration.
Includes micro-SD card port (SD/SDHC up to 32 GB) for storing shows in stand-alone mode.
Compatible with both Daslight 4 & Daslight 5 software (full licences) for live show control.
With 3 universes (1536 channels) you can control quite a full lighting rig: moving heads, LED bars, effects, and more — good for a mid-sized club or pub venue.
Stand-alone mode means you can program lighting sequences and run them automatically when the room is un-manned (for e.g., house effects between acts).
Ethernet connection enables remote trigger / network control, letting you integrate with DJ setups or club automation systems.
Durable metal build means it holds up to the movement/infrastructure of touring.
Flexible live & stand-alone modes mean you can either run it from the computer on stage or load a show and let it run itself in stand alone mode
The channel count gives you growth headroom — useful if your rig expands.
Expandability means this isn’t just a “small system” — you can scale up by unlocking the 4th universe/2048 channels later.
Network connectivity (USB + Ethernet) and the fact it uses the full version of Daslight 4/5 means you’re not capped by “Express” version limitations.
Stand-alone triggering via SD card, clock/calendar, multi-zone memory make it viable for installations or semi-permanent setups. (See full features below)
Ideal for fixed installations: the stand-alone mode means you program the show, load to the SD card, and the controller runs without needing a PC permanently.
Network trigger options (UDP packets, remote control apps) allow integration into building systems.
Compact dimensions (160 × 90 × 45 mm) and light weight (~268 g) mean discreet mounting is realistic.
Live mode: 3 DMX512 universes by default (1536 channels) — expandable to 4 universes (2048 channels).
Stand-alone mode: 1 universe by default — expandable up to 4 universes.
Connections: USB Type-B, Ethernet RJ45, XLR DMX In/Out, micro-SD card slot.
Housing: Metal. Environment: IP20 rating, 0-50 °C operating range.
Dimensions: 160 × 90 × 45 mm. Weight: ~268 g
Software: Works with Daslight 4 & 5 (full licences included) — Live and Stand-alone modes.
The 4th universe (to reach 2048 channels) requires an additional license/upgrade — so while most people will not need more than 3U, full expansion incurs a small cost.
While stand-alone mode is powerful, some features (e.g., Art-Net output or network triggers) may only fully function or be unlocked via optional upgrades.
With high channel count, proper fixture patching and cable management becomes critical — ensure your rig is designed to take advantage of the extra channels.
Power supply: The datasheet indicates input 5-5.5 V DC, 0.6 A. Make sure you purchase a decent PSU as its not included.

Included is Daslight 5 (Express) which is an incredibly powerful, intuitive and easy to learn DMX Software which has easy Midi Mapping so you can use your own controllers as wings, trigger from backing tracks, or even use a touchscreen or ipad as a remote controller.
